Renee Burlanyette, RVT

Practice Manager

Renee has been working at Golf Glen Veterinary Clinic since 2004. She started as a high school co-op student, then shortly after was hired on as an animal care attendant. It was then she realized working with animals was her passion and interest. In April 2011, Renee graduated from The University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus, as a Registered Veterinary Technician. In October 2020, Renee eagerly took on the new challenge and position as Hospital Manager at Golf Glen. She feels fortunate to be a part of such an amazing team of people who have supported and helped her get to where she is today in her career.

In her spare time, Renee enjoys spending time going on adventures with her husband Ryan and their Portuguese Water Dog Norman. She loves the outdoors, camping, skiing (on snow and water) and travelling the world. She hopes to one day have the opportunity to work with large animals or marine life and travel to Australia and New Zealand.

Preventing and Treating Litter Box Issues

Using the litter box properly is one of the universal requirements that most cat owners have. When Kitty uses the box properly, it’s something that we don’t pay much attention to, besides the daily scooping. Dear Clients,

Our team continues to be here for you and your cherished pets. We are OPEN and are now able to provide a wide range of services. Based on the current provincial changes, below are some important updates to our operating policies.

1. WE CAN NOW SEE ALL CASES BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

This includes vaccines, wellness exams, blood work, heartworm testing, spays and neuters, dental services, and more!

2. SAFETY MEASURES TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE

  • Continue our "closed waiting room" policy to protect our clients and staff. When you arrive, please remain outside the hospital and use your cell phone to call us. We will take a history of your pet's health and discuss any concerns. A staff member will then meet you outside to bring your pet into the hospital for an examination. The Veterinarian will call you to discuss the recommended treatment plan. After your appointment, a staff member will return your pet to you outside, and take care of any needed medications and payment.
  • Continue the use of credit cards as the preferred payment method.
  • Continue with curbside pickup of food and medication (unless you have used our online store and are having your order delivered directly to your home). To place an order through our online store, visit our website and click on "Online Store".
  • 3. OPERATING HOURS

We are OPEN with the following hours:
Monday to Friday: 8:00 am - 7:00 pm
    Saturday: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
    Sunday: Closed
Note: We are closed the Saturdays of long weekends.

    4. NEW PET OWNERS
